The Grove and The Terraces is tucked away in Central Florida off of 192, connected to I-4. It’s easy to get to yet in an area that’s quiet and isolated from the hustle and bustle of nearby Kissimmee attractions. It’s a great escape with plenty to do at the resort yet it’s close to Walt Disney World if you want to spend some time there; there’s even a complimentary resort shuttle to Disney’s theme parks.

Delicious Food Options

At Valencia Restaurant – with an indoor air-conditioned dining rom or outdoor patio where guests can dine al fresco – the menu ranges from salads and sandwiches to tacos, wings, fried calamari, steak, and fish entrees. The food is very tasty and well prepared. You’ll look forward to your next meal there and because the restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch too, you never have to wait long.

Gorgeous Grounds Abound

When you stay at The Terraces, you’re also welcome to roam The Grove property. A must-visit is Lake Austin Pier, just a short walk from the main buildings. The oasis is a conservation area filled with wildlife, including birds and alligators. Rent boats and fishing equipment to add to your vacation fun.

Breakfast Bites Before Park Days

In the morning, fuel up before you head to the theme parks at Byte, with Starbucks brand coffee. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is just 20 minutes away by car. Don’t want to drive? The hotel provides shuttles so you don’t have to worry about parking or transportation. Grab a coffee, fruit, and breakfast sandwich to go and be energized for the fun day ahead.

Warm Welcome Back

The Terraces is a lovely place to come “home” to each evening after a day enjoying the water park, pool, or nearby theme parks and assorted attractions in Orlando. Look forward to meals at the resort restaurant, eating at a nearby restaurant (there are plenty in the area to choose from), ordering delivery, or making a meal in your one or two bedroom kitchenette.

Spacious Rooms at The Terraces

We recommend springing for a spacious one or two bedroom room. The dining area, kitchenette and balcony are worth it and you can have it all at incredibly affordable rates.

Surfari Water park is Fun For All Ages

Spend the day at the resort’s Surfari water park. Access is complimentary to all guests and highlights include duel waterslides, a zero-entry pool, and a 695-foot lazy river. Guests can ride Flowrider®️ Double Surf Simulator for an additional fee.

Poolside Water Park Cabanas

Cabanas are available to rent by the day at Surfari Water Park. Iced water, reserved lounge chairs, and a covered shaded space complete with a fan, table and chairs, and a television are included. The cabana also comes with a safe to store your valuables while you swim. A waiter assists with food and drink orders from the water park’s Longboard Bar and Grill.

The Springs Resort Pools and Hot Tub

Various pools at The Terraces and The Grove are available for guests to enjoy. They are open until 10:00 pm so you can swim and relax from morning until night, even if you’ve spent the day at the water park or popular nearby theme parks. There is even a splash activity area for kids at The Springs and a large hot tub to accommodate everyone who wants to take a relaxing soak.

Convenient Marketplace

There’s no need to leave the property for sundries and snacks. Everything you could want is available at the Alfresco Market like candy, soft drinks, alcohol, pizza, coffee, and souvenirs. We loved the mix and match Keurig K-Cups station or the in-room coffee makers. Need milk? Alfresco sells that too.

Evening Cocktails

If you prefer to be served evening cocktails instead of buying beer, wine, or pre-mixed cocktails at Alfresco Market, head to Dyve at The Terraces or Springs Bar& Grill at The Grove for evening drinks. We recommend the mezcal cocktail Prickly Pearadise and a nice glass of red from their plentiful selection of wines.

Arcade to Rival Any Other

Even adults will have a blast at the Flip Flops Family Fun Center at The Grove. It was, by far, the best arcade we've been to in the past two decades! We loved playing digitized, modern versions of carnival classics, like throwing a ball to knock down a clown and aiming ping pong balls into small fishbowls in exchange for arcade tickets.

Glow-In-The-Dark Mini Golf

A small, indoor miniature golf course glows in black light. The 8-hole course takes around 30 minutes to complete. It’s the perfect escape from the Florida heat and sun. Play with friends, family, or as a couple. We enjoyed a round of mini golf for a date one night and had a blast.
